Nigerian Film Lionheart disqualified from Oscars for lack Of 'No English Dialogues'

The 1st ever Nigerian film to be submitted for The Academy Awards, Lionhearts has been disqualified on the grounds of lack of non-English dialogues. The film by Genevieve Nnaji was submitted for the category of Best International Film. The film had only one dialogue which is in a foreign language while, as per the rules, the film has to have a predominantly non-English dialogue track. It has 11 mins of dialogue in the Igbo language.
