Vignesh Shivan said he and his wife Nayanthara, have welcomed twin baby boys. Many pointed out that surrogacy had been made illegal in India since January, barring some exceptions, and questions arose if the celebrity couple had gone by the rulebook. When a journalist questioned about the same to Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian, he said, We will ask the director of medical services to inquire whether they followed due process.
