National Film Award winning screenwriter, Madampu Kunjukuttan passes away at 81

Noted writer and screenwriter, Madampu Kunjukuttan passed away at a private hospital in Thrissur at the age of 81. Kunjukuttan was tested positive for Covid-19. He won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay in the year 2000 for the Malayalam film Karunam. Kunjukuttan wrote many Malayalam films in his career. He had also won the prestigious Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. Kunjukuttan was born on June 23, 1941.
