31-year-old Supergirl star Melissa Benoist released a video in which she spoke about the domestic violence and abuse that she had to go through. Melissa revealed that a former partner - whom she did not name - abused her both physically and emotionally for the duration of their relationship. The actress who is now married to Chris Wood said she once suffered a torn iris and broken nose after her abuser threw an iPhone at her face.
