Renowned Marathi singer Ashok Nikalje has been cheated of Rs 2.5 lakh by two fraudsters, the police said on Saturday. According to a report in The Indian Express, the conmen pretended to be cops and promised Nikalje an invitation to a high profile musical event as a guest. It all started when on October 14, one of the fraudsters posed as an IPS officer and called Nikalje.
