Deepika Padukone to play Ranbir Kapoor's mother in Brahmastra, confirms OTT version

After much rumours and speculations, the makers of 'Brahmastra' have finally confirmed that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of Ranbir Kapoor's character Shiva's mother in the second installment. While the makers only dropped silhouttes and shadows in the theatrical version of the film, they very cleverly introduced Deepika as Shiva's mother Amrita in the recently-released OTT version of 'Brahmastra'.
