In her documentary Pretty Baby, Brooke Shields revealed she was raped at a young age. Without revealing the identify of the accused, she said, "I didn't fight that much... I just absolutely froze." Shields added, "The industry that I was in really primes you to be shut down and I just didn't want to lose to that. I didn't want to become that victim." Her documentary received standing ovation at Sundance Film Festival.
