Bangladeshi actress seeks justice from PM on Facebook, accuses businessman of rape, murder attempt

In a shocking incident, popular Bangladeshi film actress Shamsunnahar Smriti, popularly known as Pori Moni, took to Facebook to seek justice from PM Sheikh Hasina, while alleging that a businessman attempted to rape and murder her at a club in Dhaka. After her Facebook post on Sunday, Shamsunnahar accused Nasir U Mahmood, entertainment and cultural affairs secretary of Dhaka Boat Club, of assaulting her in a media briefing.
