Veteran Bollywood actress Asha Parekh recently criticised the western culture and fashion that has been taking over Indian society. "The films that are being made are... I do not know, we are so westernised. Gowns pehen ke wedding pe aa rahi hain ladkiyan. Arey bhaiya, hamari ghagra choli, saariyan aur salwar-kameez hai aap wo pehno na," the 80-year-old stated.
