Avinshu Patel, 20-years-old, was found dead on Neelankarai beach and a Facebook post on his account indicated that he ended his own life as 'society did not accept him for being gay.' When the body was found near the beach, a case of unnatural death was registered by the police, where they also informed that Avi had called a friend on July 2 late night, telling him that he wanted to end his life.
