Eight policemen were killed in action in Uttar Pradesh in a failed attempt to nab gangster Vikas Dubey late on Thursday. The police went to nab Vikas Dubey after a villager named Rahul Tiwari filed a complaint against him under a case of attempt to murder. Dubey is wanted in 60 cases including murder, robbery and kidnappings. He also murdered a BJP Minister named Santosh Shukla in 2001 inside a police station.
