After a group of masked mob attacked some students of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, several screenshots of WhatsApp groups allegedly associated with ABVP when viral. One such group was 'Unity against left'. Some users in the group urged people to “thrash the anti-nationals” in JNU. When contacted, three of the six members said someone else may have “misused” their number, one said his “friend posted the message”.
