Video of woman dragging 'violent dog' behind Scooty in Patiala causes outrage

Two ladies from Patiala, Punjab, have been charged with animal cruelty. Chanchal and Sonia, inhabitants of a hamlet near Patiala, tied a dog to their scooter and dragged it around the city streets in a horrific event. The event happened on June 20 and was caught on tape by security cameras. During police questioning, the accused reportedly admitted that the dog was a pet. On June 24, the dog died as a result of its injuries.
