Vatican's ex-senior priest gets 6 years of imprisonment for child sex abuse

Cardinal George Pell has been sentenced to 6-years of imprisonment with a possibility of parole after 3 years and 8 months. Chief Judge said that he had longer terms of imprisonment in his mind, but considering Pell's age he is imposing a shorter term of punishment. He registered Pell as a sexual offender and described his behavior as 'perverted'. He said that Pell is not being made a scapegoat of the Catholic Church.
