Unidentified assailants shoot Uttarakhand BJP councillor dead in front of his house

Prakash Dhami, Bhartiya Janta Party councillor in Rudrapur municipal corporation was shot dead in front of his house in Udham Singh Nagar district on Monday by some unidentified men. 40-year-old Dhami was a resident of Agrasen Nagar, Bhadaipura. According to Daleep Singh Kunwar, senior superintendent of police, the murder was due to old enmity. The assailants came in a car, shot at Dhami and fled from the spot.
