A twin bombing shook the southern Philippines after a suicide bomber triggered the bombs. The bomb blast left 10 dead and dozens injured. The bombing took place in Jolo in Muslim-majority Sulu. The area remains a struggle ground for the government-backed security forces and the Abu Sayyaf group. Among the ten dead, were five soldiers and four civilians. Sixteen soldiers and 20 civilians were left wounded in the attack.
