Trump has announced a national emergency to protect US computer networks from foreign adversaries. He signed an order that effectively bars US companies from using foreign telecoms which are believed to pose national security risks. It is mainly believed to target Huawei. Huawei said restricting its businesses in the US will affect only American consumers & companies. The moves are likely to worsen US-China tensions.
