Three women working for media in Afghanistan gunned down

Three women working for a local radio and TV station in eastern Afghanistan were shot dead on Tuesday in separate attacks. Mursal Wahidi, one of the victims, was walking home when she was attacked by gunmen. Two other victims, Shahnaz and Sadia, were gunned down in a separate attack. Two other people were left wounded in the attack. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the extremist group was not involved in the killings.
