Suspension of sentence plea of rapist Asaram rejected by Rajasthan High Court

The Rajasthan High Court has rejected an application by self-styled godman Asaram for the suspension of sentence on Tuesday. He was arrested for the rape of a minor girl. Earlier on February 21, he pleaded for interim bail, but the Jodhpur bench of the Rajasthan High Court rejected it as well saying that it did not have any sympathy for such criminals. He has been sentenced with lifetime jail for the crime.
