5 people were arrested for poaching a protected Sumatran Tiger in Indonesia, after authorities found a dead tiger with four of its fetuses in a plastic jar. It was recovered from Teluk Binjai Village, in the country's Pelalawan District along with an adult tiger skin. In 1978 more than 1,000 of this critically endangered species lived in Sumatra, but deforestation and poaching cut down their numbers to around 400.
