Sri Lankan Investigator: No Islamic State link in the Easter bombings

A senior Sri Lankan officer Ravi Seneviratne investigated the Easter terror attacks has said that the attacks were not linked directly to the Islamic State as it was claimed earlier. He said the suicide bombers were inspired by the IS theology but there was no proof directly linking them to the IS group. Ravi informed that the remnants of NTJ, govt blamed the group for the attacks, had persuaded the IS to claim the attacks.
