In an incident that was described as "shocking" by the British Home Secretary, a mass shooting in the city of Plymouth left six people, including a child, dead. The deceased included two females and three males. The suspect was also killed after receiving gunshot wounds. According to Luke Pollard, a local lawmaker, the child who lost his life was under 10 years old. The police called it a "serious firearms incident".
