Robbers in Mexico steal $2.5 million in gold coins from a mint in daylight heist

Robbers stole an estimated $2.5 million from a mint in Mexico leaving the vault open in broad daylight on one of the Mexican capital's most prestigious avenues, Avenida Reforma, as per reports. 2 thieves entered the mint and took security guard's gun, threw him to the ground before making off with 1567 gold coins from the vault. Police are searching for the robbers and also checking the camera footage given by the mint.
