At least 40 people are dead and 50 more injured, including a national guard after a riot at a Venezuela prison. The national guard was wounded by an explosion and a warden also suffered a knife wound. The unrest at the Llanos penitentiary started on Friday following an inmate protest demanding that their relatives be allowed to deliver them food. Then an armed confrontation broke out between inmates and guards.
