A record haul of 4.4 tons of cocaine has been seized in Uruguay. Experts are calling it the biggest blow to drug traffickers in the country's history. The cocaine was seized during a joint operation of navy and customs officers in the port of Montevideo. It was hidden in four soy flour containers and was about to leave for Lome, the capital of Togo. The drugs had a street value of a staggering $1 billion.
