Ranjeet Singh Rana, one of India's biggest drug smuggler arrested from Haryana

The Punjab Police today arrested from Haryana Ranjeet Singh Rana, a drug smuggler who was wanted in a 532 kg heroin seizure case, police said. Rana was arrested from a hideout in Sirsa in Haryana. He was wanted in a narcotics haul case in which the Customs department last year had seized 532 kg of heroin worth Rs 2,700 crore in rock salt consignments at the Integrated Check Post at Attari in Amritsar.
