Punjab cop's hand-chopped, 2 officers injured in attack by group defying lockdown

In a shocking incident, an assistant sub-inspector police officer's hand was chopped off and 2 other officers got injured when a group of people attacked them in Patiala district, Punjab. This morning, the police were attacked when they tried to ensure lockdown was in place, which has been extended till May 1. The police officer whose hand was chopped has been taken to the hospital and the doctors are operating on him.
