Militants in Jammu and Kashmir have claimed to kill the panchayat member from South Kashmir’s Khanmoh village who has been missing since August 9. The militants accepted killing the panchayat member in an audio message. The dead person has been identified as Nisar Ahmad Bhat who went missing from Shopian. However, the security forces have said the 2.56-minute-long audio clip appears to be fake and they are investigating it.
