Odisha truck driver pays highest ever fine under new motor act

The new fines under the new motor vehicles act norms have taken the citizens by storm and since the act was rolled out on September 1, an innumerable amount of cases have come into the light. However, a truck driver from Odisha has now become the single biggest violator of the act. He was fined a whopping Rs.86,500 for violating a number of traffic rules such as driving without a licence, overloading and general offences.
