NSA Ajit Doval says India witnessing 500% spike in cybercrimes due to poor response

The National Security Advisor reflected at the poor cyber hygiene and limited awareness about cybercrimes in the country while saying that there has been an increase of 500 percent in cybercrimes in the country. The NSA was speaking at the two-day virtual cyber conference, `Cocon 2020'. Doval said there is a greater dependence on digital payment platform due to reduced cash handling and greater data sharing.
