Nithyananda's bail cancelled by Karnataka High Court in 2010 rape case

The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday cancelled the bail granted to the self-styled godman Nithyananda in 2010 in a rape case. Nithyananda's bail was cancelled by Justice John Michael DCunha. The Judge also directed the trial court to order the arrest of the accused and initiate the process of forfeiting the surety and bonds. The court was hearing a petition filed by his driver Kuruppan Lenin who sought cancellation of the bail.
