Nirbhaya Gangrape convict moves SC challenging rejection of mercy plea by President

One of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya Gangrape murder case, Mukesh Singh has moved Supreme Court challenging the rejection of mercy plea by the President of India. Mukesh's lawyer Vrinda Grover shared the news about Mukesh moving Supreme Court. The President had rejected his plea after the suggestion from the Home Ministry. All the four convicts are scheduled to be hanged on February 1 2020 in Tihar Jail.
