Mukesh Singh, one of the four convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape-murder case, has moved the Supreme Court claiming that his amicus curiae, Vrinda Grover, "forced" him to sign curative and mercy petitions by falsely informing him that he had to file a curative petition within seven days of the issue of a death warrant, while he originally had 3 years to file it. Mukesh has asked the court to "restore" the rights available to him.
