Several Americans have complained about coronavirus-related fraud cases with a loss of nearly $12 million in total, according to Federal Trade Commission. These are linked to fraudulent COVID-19 cures, websites selling fake vaccine kits phishing email scams hacking personal information. US Department of Justice had to direct all 94 US Attorneys to introduce a ‘Coronavirus Fraud Coordinator’ for their districts.
