Mumbai man loses Rs 90,000 in online fraud

A man from Mumbai became the latest victim to online fraud. The victim, Sanket Kumar Verma lost the money, near about Rs 90,000, saved for his son's cancer treatment. On December 24, the victim received a text message which stated his e-wallet will be locked for non-KYC compliance. Verma contacted a number mentioned and he was asked to download an app. When he downloaded it 90,000 were missing within minutes.
