Mexico's president defended freeing drug kingpin Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's son after his arrest. Defence Minister Luis Sandoval admitted his troops carried out a badly planned operation and said they briefly arrested Ovidio Guzman but released him after being overpowered. Sandoval said the task force acted too hastily, the operation wasn't improvised, there was planning but it takes time to obtain an arrest warrant.
