Mehul Choksi to be sent to Dominica state prison after treatment

Fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi, who is currently undergoing treatment at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital, has been remanded to prison from police custody. He will be sent to state prison in the case related to illegal entry into the Caribbean island nation, once his treatment is over. Choksi's plea for bail has been rejected by the court. He had filed for bail citing his 'flight sickness'.
