Mehul Choksi may get deported to India within weeks, thinks Harish Salve

The hearing for bail plea by Fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi, one of the prime accused in Punjab National Bank Fraud, has been adjourned for now. There were reports that the Indian government may rope in senior lawyer Harish Salve to get Choksi's custody. When asked about Choksi's deportation, Salve said, "I don't have that kind of experience in Dominican courts, but hopefully we should be taking weeks rather than months."
