Kerala gold smuggling case: NIA alleges Swapna Suresh conspired to damage India's economy

The National Intelligence Agency that is probing the Kerala Gold smuggling case, has told the court that Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair conspired together to "damage the monetary stability of India by destabilising the economy by smuggling a large quantity of gold from abroad. The agency suspects the funds were used for financing terrorism through various means. The agency is now probing the hawala network.
