Kerala CM’s former principal secretary arrested by ED in connection with Gold scam case

The Enforcement Directorate arrested M Shivashankar, the former principal secretary of Kerala chief minister, on Wednesday in connection with the gold smuggling case. Shivashankar was arrested by the agency after an entire day of interrogation. According to ED, Shiavashankar was in constant touch with prime accused Swapna Suresh. He allegedly helped Swapna Suresh to manage her finances through his chartered accountant.
