Justice for Nirbhaya: 4 convicts to be hanged together for the first time in independent India

The Delhi court has issued a death warrant against all 4 convicts in the 2012 Nirbhaya rape case and the execution will take place on Jan 22 at 7 am in Jail No 3 at Tihar jail complex. This is the first time in the history of independent India that 4 convicts will be hanged together. In the last 3 decades, 16 convicts have been hanged to death since 1991. Dhanajoy Chatterjee was the only convict charged of rape and murder.
