India becomes 9th country to publish a sex offenders database

A database with details of names, photographs, residential address, DNA samples, fingerprints, Aadhar number and PAN of convicted sexual offenders, called the 'National Register of Sexual Offenders' has been published by the Indian government. India has joined 8 other countries like United States, Australia, Canada, the UK and South Africa to have a sex offenders registry, accessible either publicly or by police.
