Illicit liquor worth Rs 30 lakh seized in Kanpur

Kanpur police have arrested nine persons for allegedly selling illicit liquor from Kanpur Dehat. Liquor worth Rs 30 lakh was seized from the accused. The nine arrested persons were making liquor when they were raided. The accused men were using fake stickers to brand the liquor bottles. Interestingly, in January this year, the Uttar Pradesh police had arrested six persons for selling illegal liquor as well.
