Hundreds attend funeral of militant Sajad Nawab Dar amid lockdown, case registered for violation

After the Indian Army hunted and killed Jaish-e-Mohammed militant Sajad Nawab Dar yesterday, nearly four hundred locals came out to attend the funeral of the militant, breaking the nationwide lockdown. Following the incident, Sopore Police on Wednesday night registered FIR against unknown persons who gathered at the funeral for violating the Covid-19 protocols and government directives regarding the social gathering.
