Hackers demand $70 Million after ransomware attack

A major ransomware assault focusing on US information technology management firm Kaseya has impacted over a thousand organisations in at least 17 countries. According to a statement on a dark website, Russia-linked ransomware gang REvil has claimed responsibility for the breach and stated it will release a universal decryptor for $70 million in Bitcoin to free "more than a million" affected machines.
