Hacker group lazarus stole cryptocurrency worth $571 million

Targeting cryptocurrency exchanges with spear phishing, social engineering and malware, a hacking group named Lazarus has stolen cryptocurrency worth $571 million since January 2017. Cybersecurity vendor Group-IB released a report stating that Lazarus was responsible for 14 hacking attacks on cryptocurrency exchanges and nearly 10 per cent of total funds raised by Initial Coin Offering (ICO) were also stolen.
