Gunmen in Nigeria kidnapped two Indian nationals and the Police in southwest Nigeria asked foreign nationals to remain alert and cautious after the incident. The Indian nationals were kidnapped out of a pharmaceutical firm in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state. State police spokesman Olugbenga Fadeyi said the police were making a “concerted effort” to rescue them and asked the security agencies to remain alert.
