On Monday a fine of 50 million euros was imposed on France's Banque Postale for allowing the cash transactions to and from people suspected of "terrorist movements". From 2009 to 2017, nearly 75 transactions were made by 10 people, whose assets had been frozen, 9 of them were suspected terrorists, through the bank, said ACPR watchdog. The bank failed to take the required measures to identify them, ACPR added.
