Suspended Maharashtra cop Sachin Vaze, who is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate, has told the agency that former Maharashtra minister Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs. 2 crores to convince NCP chief Sharad Pawar over his reinstatement. The suspended cop told that while Mr. Pawar was against his reinstatement, Deshmukh told him that he would convince Pawar. Vaze used to extort money from bar owners.
