The data collected from a FitBit Alta wearable that 67-years-old Karen Navarra was wearing when she died helped the police to solve the murder case igniting the question whether tech companies are helping law enforcement. The change of her heartbeat during her last few moments and information collected from the surveillance camera proved that her stepfather visited her and was present during her death.
